"Green Lantern also has strict code against killing"
No, Green Lanterns were not allowed to kill, it had nothing to do with a code. During their war against the Sinestro Corps, that restriction was lifted since the Sinestro Corps were killing Green Lanterns left and right while the Green Lanterns were not allowed to retaliate. Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Guy Gardner, all three of them fought in the war, John has been killing since before he even joined the Green Lanterns having been a Marine Sniper.
Titans Luthor had a magnificent beard, one of the best in live action DC. It looks great but Luthor being Luthor, it does not really fit the character.
It's the kind of movie you only watch once. An average movie at best and too many things made no sense like Supergirl speaking perfect English despite being held in a Russian facility the whole time, at least give her an accent.
Supergirl by MarceloSilvaArt
Looking at those pictures, why do they keep shaving Aquaman's beard? he actually looks more "kingly" and dominant with it, without it, he looks like a trust fund kid or a Hollywood actor...
Anyway, here's the full pic:
Batman is a billionaire and in good shape, he's at the top when it comes to standards. Nothing wrong with him dating a woman in her prime (20-30). However, I've read plenty of Green Lantern comics and I don't remember Jessica dating Bruce, when did this happen? I'm guessing it was not a GL story
If there is somebody in DC that can be trusted to do the Lantern mythos justice, it's Geoff Johns. The Parallax "retcon" was a great idea and helped explain the "yellow weakness". It also expanded on the Lantern lore by adding other entities like the Butcher (Rage), Adara (hope) etc.
I am yet to read the new Golden Age comics but if they are written by Geoff Johns, I'm sure he will do the characters justice
I've always seen "Demigod" as somebody who is part god, as in, either the mother or the father is a god/goddess but the other parent is a mortal so no, he's not
I feel like I have not given my boy Atros enough love lately so here's some art by Robert Barnes (Robthesinger)
He made a similar post on the Star Wars fandom but about Vader
So.. I think he means in the real world. You would have to ask somebody from Saudi Arabia.
The only good thing he has done is casting Harley Quinn (and it probably was not him), every other DC decision is terrible.
I was looking at his record and he seems to have made some decent stuff like Training Day, End of Watch and Dark Blue. I think he could make a half decent movie about the Unknown Soldier
I've never been a fan of Starro, it looks too "goofy" for my liking. The butterflies in Peacemaker seemed like an interesting concept
I recently got one of my old phones fixed because I needed something I had in them and there was more stuff saved up in it than I thought. It was 120$ to fix a phone that I will never use again *sigh*... anyway, got what I needed so I guess it's fine
I was going through an old phone and found the info on my old account so you can forget about @Fear Sage (that's me by the way), I'm not going to use it anymore. This account goes back almost 3 years.
Anyway, letting you all know so that you all don't think I'm suckpuppeting or whatever it's called
SPOILERS are easy to avoid, just stay away from the internet... me? I don't care about them
Soranik is supposed to be leading the Sinestro Corps, she had a pretty big fight with Kyle when the Sinestro Corps allied with the Green lanterns UNLESS they retconned the whole thing. Usually the Lanterns are safe from the whole New 52, Rebirth, etc.
The writers today would probably destroy the lanterns with their bs, HOWEVER, if it's Geoff Johns doing it, I would love for Atros to reappear. I want more of Lyssa Drak and I want them to expand on Soranik leading the Sinestro Corps with Thaal as a mentor
Ethan Van Sciver did an incredible job with the Lanterns so he'll always be one of the best. There's also everybody that worked on Sinestro like Martin Coccolo, the story had top level art the whole run.
I hate seeing real world politics in comics since it's so obviously biased but if it can be done right, then it would be OK. For example, there's a story where members of the JL start revealing who they are voting for, but that story did not feel biased, it was in my opinion, real world politics done right in comics, the whole issue started with Green Arrow saying he was gonna vote for one side, which caused the other members to also reveal their politics (except Superman). I actually enjoyed the story and I hate politics. Unfortunately, today's writers are incapable of being unbiased
Red Lantern Mera by EmilyK. For those that don't know, she had the honor of being a Red Lantern for a bit.
