@Leader Vladimir @Roscoe Coaltrane You guys are both right. James Gunn has been talking about a potential Marvel/DC crossover in the future, but it probably won't happen until 2040 at the earliest (unless they start with animation).
You're also right about how most of the old Marvel/DC weren't in New Earth and 616. The exceptions were Marvel Vs. DC, the Amalgam comics, All Access, Unlimited Access, JLA/Avengers, Green Lantern/Silver Surfer, and Superman/Fantastic Four. It'll be a very huge question on if these crossovers take place in 616 and Prime Earth.
The one thing I can say about the cast announcement is it's different (in a very good way). Batman interacting with Deadpool (who'll make his first Marvel and DC crossover appearance) will be fun. Captain America interacting with Wonder Woman will be amazing. Daredevil interacting with Green Arrow (both were written by Kevin Smith at one point) is going to be awesome. Finally, the Big 2 introduces these two adorable Marvel and DC characters into the crossover (Jeff the Land Shark and Krypto the Superdog). I personally think Marvel and DC are trying to do different teamups than what was done in the past (and that's not a bad thing).
