So all versions of Bruce Wayne like the one in the Dark knight returns, Year one (post crisis), vampire Batman, Gotham by gaslight, the ones we see in TV shows, movies and video games are at their core the same concept created by Bob Kane with Bill Finger but with some alterations created by the writers and artists in charge of the new Batman story, correct?

For example:

The version of the Dark knight returns is the same character created by Bob Kane with Bill Finger but adapted by Frank Miller.

I guess that's the reason why the byline "Batman created by Bob Kane with Bill Finger" apprear in every single Batman comic.

So the list is reliable, correct?

Because I recommended to the family and I said this is by far the best list of Batman stories.

I mean, it's got everything you'd like about Batman and is the most reliable in my opinion because whoever did the list really dug deeper in the Batman lore because most lists on the internet are about mainstream comics such as the Dark knight returns and that comic is always the first one on most lists.

At least this one is more complete and comprehensive, right?

Man, my Batman comic book list is based on the recommended reading list.

Is that list reliable?

I thought this wiki was more reliable than the Wikipedia.

Does that mean everything I've read about Batman is not true?

I can't believe this.

Even the recommended reading list is unreliable?

I mean Earth one is the successor to Earth Two and New Earth is the successor to Earth One i.e, They're all continuations of the original character so they're all Batman with some alterations but they're one in the same.

Now, what about Bruce Wayne from Earth 31 or 43? an old Batman and a vampire Batman.

I don't know if those variations of Batman have an impact on the character in general considering the fact they're from alternative realities and not of the mainstream universe.

Another great example is the Batman from Gotham by gaslight.

That Bruce Wayne wasn't even created by Bob Kane with Bill Finger, It was created by the artist and writer of that book.

So why are all those versions Batman also considered Batman even if they weren't created by the original creators?

By the way

If the characters in my movie or TV show are based on comic book characters, then I used those characters from the Comics to develop or create my own story and versions of those characters for my film or TV show, right? In other words, they're adaptations.

I asked this because I saw a documentary of DC and Warner bros and I was fascinated by how something from the comics can develop so much, and also because I'm always been interested in the entertainment industry in general.

Tupka said that all those versions of Carmine were early Batman villains.

The Gotham version didn't make it until the end so I was just pointing that out.

But in my opinion the Gotham version is the best.

Well the Gotham version of Carmine Falcone died before Batman showed up.

Batman begins explore the motivations of the character. It's something that I like about Batman.

But overall all movies are great except Batman and Robin.

All versions of the batsuit are unique and great.

The long Halloween is my favorite Batman story.

At least for now because it can change.

The Gotham version didn't last long but at least it was in my opinion more realistic and better.

Believe it or not every time I read a Batman comic I can hear his voice narrating the story.

Such a shame we lost in my opinion the definitive Batman.
