If so, it should be tagged off-topic, right?
It was just before Rebirth came in, if I remember correctly
Glad you liked it
The joke's here: why did Bane really go to Gotham? He thought Batman could use a break 🤣🤣🤣
Got it, to the off-topic thread then
If so, it should be tagged off-topic, right?
I know, but given Batman: The Brave And The Bold and Teen Titans are also here, just thought I'd bring it up
^^That's what I was thinking
Also, Green Lantern: The Animated Series was really good!
@Jstewart2007 Maybe and I was never a fan of the MCU as a whole. Praise where it's due, though: they did an excellent job at appealing to all audiences.
@Jstewart2007 Well, it can be traced back to Brightburn. When it released and subsequently bombed, James Gunn mentioned that he had intended to create another horror movie icon. Someone in the league of Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees (not his exact words), which informs me of VERY low standards. Of course, the concept of an evil Superman can be done right, but it should never hold that much praise imho.
On a more personal level, none of his projects have done anything for me. That being said, I so very much hope I'm wrong and the DCU turns out to be breathtaking.
Tangent
I just wish I got to play any of these (except the last one, which is pointless to even critisize).
Kind of gives me Wrath vibes, in that both trained a "Robin" for themselves as part of their Anti-Batman gimmick. Apart from that, I'd say he's OK, not an outstanding character, but neither forgettable.
Well, if I remember correctly, Starfire recieved elite training from the Warlords of Okaara, while Mera was trained from a young age and Nubia, well... is a centuries-old Amazon. So with that in mind, she is my pick. Ultimately, it depends on the writer.
As previously stated, none of these issue held back the shows in any way. On my part, maybe the fact some characters never appeared, but even that isn't really a problem.
Even though crossovers have been used to death, I'd love to see Batman vs. Gojira. And by this, I mean the japanese version.
The Tomorrow Knight for Batman (Terry McGinnis).
Happy birthday! Hope you enjoyed your day!
There's also Martha Kent aka Doll Girl, although she hailed from Quality Comics, a now defunct company whose characters DC later bought.
Maybe they liked the name. Or perhaps it's just that common of a name.
Getting to see Michael Keaton as Batman one more time was a real treat.
The script I think was not that bad, but the delivery lacks in oh so many ways.
Dick Grayson, the quintessential sidekick who went on to become his own man.
