スーサイド・スクワッド Vol 1

スーサイド・スクワッド Vol. 1（Suicide Squad Vol. 1）は1987年に刊行開始した、スーサイド・スクワッドのオンゴーイング・シリーズである。

概要[]

本シリーズは、クロスオーバー・イベント『レジェンズ』で登場したスーサイド・スクワッドの初めての個人タイトルで、『レジェンズ』のスピンオフ・コミックスとして刊行開始された。『レジェンズ』終了後、メインキャラクターであるリック・フラッグとアマンダ・ウォラーのオリジンとスーサイド・スクワッドの歴史が描かれた『シークレット・オリジンズ Vol 2』#14が刊行され、1987年5月からオンゴーイング・シリーズが開始した。ライターは『レジェンズ』と同じくジョン・オストランダーが務めている。
創刊翌年の1988年にはドゥーム・パトロールとの特別号が出版された。シリーズは1992年に#66で終了するが、2010年にイベント『ブラッケスト・ナイト』の復活特別号として#67が刊行された。

スーサイド・スクワッドは元々シルバーエイジに登場した冒険チームだったが、本シリーズで「減刑のために危険な任務に駆り出されるヴィランの受刑者たちのチーム」という設定が作り出され、本作以降のスーサイド・スクワッドのチーム像が決定づけられた。
チームには様々なキャラクターが入れ替わり参加したが、デッドショット、キャプテン・ブーメラン、ナイトシェイド、ブロンズタイガー等はメイン・キャラクターとして多くのイシューで登場している。
