1945 brings a new addition to the Superman comics: Superboy, in More Fun Comics #101. These adventures starred a teenage Kal-El in Smallville. Retroactively, this was also the first appearance of Earth-One, though only for Superboy's feature. The other titles would not morph into the Silver Age until the fifties, if at all.
