A.L.F.R.E.D. is an AI created by Bruce Wayne, the original Batman, to replace Alfred Pennyworth.
History
He retains the original personality and wit of the normal Alfred, and serves Bruce Wayne, Terry McGinnis and eventually Tim Drake.
A.L.F.R.E.D. is capable of completing commands verbally by the user of the Batsuit but can also as if wearer is unable to talk. The AI is also able address people outside of the suit as well.
After being captured by Brother Eye and sent to the lodge, Brother Eye downloaded itself into ALFRED and allowed Tim Drake to escape back to Neo-Gotham where Brother Eye hand downloaded himself into ALFRED and was able to pinpoint his location and the location of Neo-Gotham. During the battle with Brother Eye's forces Tim was told to remove ALFRED's hard drive and crush it to prevent Brother Eye's forces from finding him. Following the events of the Eye War A.L.F.R.E.D. was fully repaired and assisted Matt McGinnis in piloting the Batmobile to Tim's location while he was battling Rewire.
