Synopsis for "Of Two Worlds, Part Two"

The boomerang drones find Wally in the cave. The Captain tells Harkness to flush him out and seals off all the exits but one with ice from his gun. The drones chase Wally through the cave toward the exit where the other two members of the squad: Jesse and Glider, are waiting. As Wally leaves the cave Glider hits him with two energy blades, which somehow trigger him to run at superhuman speed. Wally tries to run from the Rogues but the Captain brings him down by freezing his feet to the ground. They advance on him, but Wally's anxiety spikes and lightning bursts from his body.

He finds himself a day in the past back in Barry's lab, caught up in a swirl of energy. He pulls Barry from the machine, saving his life. Wally disappears in red lightning and Rudy storms in, demanding to know what happened. He grabs Barry and repeatedly punches him in the face, saying he should have stayed away from Wally. Behind him the red lightning starts to coalesce into a human figure and Barry weakly points to it. Rudy spins around and sees Wally in a red energy form. He tells Wally it will be okay and, with a scream of pain, Wally returns to human form. Barry runs up and grabs hold of Wally, yelling at him to focus on them; but Wally screams at them to get away as lightning blasts out of him and hits Barry in the chest.

Wally is suddenly back in the desert. The Rogues were unharmed by the lightning due to personal force fields and Jesse throws a machine at Wally's feet that creates one around him. She says they will take him back to Fort Fox for experimentation, but with another burst of speed and lightning he is able to break through the field. He turns to run and Glider chases after him on rocket boots. She catches up and goes to grab him, but Wally suddenly accelerates and dashes away from her.

Wally enters the timestream and experiences his entire life all at once. He also sees two visions of his future: one in which he is a costumed hero and one where he is a monstrous being of energy who destroys the world. He returns to the present and collapses in the desert far away from the Rogues, wondering what is happening to him. The Captain sees this through binoculars and orders them to release Grodd, the green monkey Wally saw in the lab.
