Synopsis for "Velocity"
Task Force VII android Velocity is attempting to capture Barry Allen, the last speedster to still have his powers. Although Velocity is much faster than Barry as he has the stolen speed of multiple Flashes, Barry is still able to avoid being captured and lead him on a chase around the world. Barry flees to the Flash Museum, where Velocity is finally able to corner and grab him, but before Velocity can take his speed Barry vibrates through his hand and the floor. Velocity searches through the stolen memories of the Flash Family but cannot work out how to phase solid matter. Therefore he does the next best thing and smashes through the floor with Jai West's super-strength.
In the Museum's storage basement, Barry frantically searches for the "Extradimensional Tentacle" which the Bureau of Sovereignty turned into a weapon that could sever a person's connection to the Speed Force. He spots it just as Velocity drops down from above and they both run for it. Velocity's lightning makes contact with the tentacle and it explodes, knocking them both down. Velocity sees Barry despair, then take on new resolve as he comes up with another plan. Barry runs off and Velocity chases after him again.
As they run, Velocity realises Barry is about to break the Speed Force barrier. Barry enters the Force and Velocity chases after him, eager to experience it, but is momentarily overwhelmed by the massive flood of data that hits him. Barry takes the opportunity to hit Velocity multiple times at super-speed, damaging his visual sensors; and then drops back to Earth 0, leaving Velocity stranded in the Force. Velocity searches his stolen memories, looking for a way to exit the Speed Force. He realises that to return to Earth 0 he needs to control his molecular vibration and views memories of Barry teaching Wally how to phase, and when Barry learned to phases his hand into his own chest to remove a bullet. With this knowledge, he consciously reduces his own vibration and drops back to the lower frequency of Earth 0.
On Earth, Barry runs to Iris and envelops her in his Speed Force aura, allowing them to speak while time is effectively frozen from their perspective. He tells her that he is facing something dangerous and may not be able to beat it, but Iris refuses to let him say goodbye to her, telling him to win and come back to her. Barry runs away and time resumes from her perspective. Velocity continues to chase Barry around the world but has decided to never actually catch him, so he can learn all of the "tricks" Barry uses to try and escape him.
On Gamorra, Steve Trevor secretly watches as Amanda Waller activates the Multiversal Portal. To his horror, the Crime Syndicate come through and Superwoman shakes hands with Waller.
