Absolute Power: Task Force VII #7 is an issue of the series Absolute Power: Task Force VII (Volume 1) with a cover date of November, 2024. It was published on September 25, 2024.
Synopsis for "Global Guardian"
Global Guardian is sent to arrest superheroes outside the United States. He attacks Eurocorps in Berlin, and the renegade "New Global Guardians" show up to help. The many superpowers that Global Guardian has absorbed means that he is able to overpower them all, but suddenly Failsafe reboots all of Task Force VII, causing him to freeze and fall out of the sky mid-battle.
Belphegor from the official United Nations-back Global Guardians shows up to arrest the New Global Guardians and they two sides begin arguing. Suddenly, Intercorps Boom Tubes them all up to their space station and says they must band together to stop Amanda Waller. However, Failsafe reactivates and tracks them to the station. He bursts in and systematically depowers Earth's last remaining metahumans.
Meanwhile on Gamorra, Steve Trevor goes back into the prison to find anyone left behind and lead them out to the evacuation point. While he attempting to help Frankenstein, they are caught by a squad of Bureau soldiers and pinned down by gunfire. Realizing he is unlikely to get out, he calls Wonder Woman to warn her that Waller has been recruiting villains from parallel universes into her army, as she plans to imprison every superhero in the Multiverse.
