History

The Abyssal Dark is an ancient demon that has plagued Atlantis since it's founding. Having been awoken by accident from the Silent School's practice of magic, a mystic war was fought in order to keep the Abyssal Dark sealed away for a millennia. Using it's limited influence, it was eventually believed to be the source and wellspring of all Atlantean magic.
