Aclima is the twin sister and wife of Cain.
History
Aclima and Cain were among the first human beings. She was originally intended to marry their younger brother Abel, and Cain was to marry their younger sister Jumella. However, Cain preferred to marry Aclima and killed Abel to prevent their marriage, committing the first-ever murder. Aclima did not reciprocate these feelings and initially ran away,[1] but the two were ultimately wed by the time centuries had passed.
The couple eventually moved to Litharge, where they were revered for being the "first-born" -- those who started the cycle of life and death and were the very reason of Litharge exists.[2] She later returned with Cain to the Dreaming to take care of Dread of the Endless, and stayed to live with him in the reconstructed House of Mystery.[3]
