Synopsis for "Metropolis Doom! Part 4"

Forty minutes ago, Young Justice had arrived at the Hall of Justice. The teenage heroes were all excited to meet Superman, especially Conner, who was trying to come up with a way to explain his history and origins to Superman. Suddenly, Superman landed right next to them, telling the Wonder Twins to place the Hall of Justice under full lockdown. Young Justice is confused by what is happening, so Superman explains to them that the Legion of Doom and Leviathan have combined forces and invaded Metropolis.

Eight and a half minutes ago, Superman had attempted to attack the Legion of Doom's headquarters but Leviathan used his blue energy to teleport Superman into deep space. Once Superman returned to Earth, he discovered the Legion of Doom had set up an enormous trap for him right in the center of Metropolis. That is why Superman chose to go to the Hall of Justice instead of confronting the Legion head-on. If he returned to Metropolis and fought the Legion directly, he would fall right into the Legion's trap.

Young Justice agrees to help Superman, who tells the teenage heroes to help evacuate the civillians while the Justice League goes on to confront the Legion. Conner decides to stay at Superman's side while the rest of Young Justice goes on to assist with the evacuation. Using his X-ray vision, Superman realizes Conner is genetically similar to him and Conner says that it is a long story. Superman and Conner reach Metropolis while the Legion begins to wreak havoc across the city. Superman is aware that the Legion set up a huge trap all over Metropolis because the Legion knew he would never unleash his full power while inside the city and Conner comes up with an idea: instead of bringing one Superman to the fight, they should bring two.

As Young Justice assists with the evacuation, Superman confronts the Legion head-on. Suddenly, Brainiac detects a second Kryptonian life-sign. Lex says that a second Kryptonian on Earth is unlikely, as Superman's son is nowhere to be found while Supergirl is in another planet. The Legion looks up into the sky and watches as Conner pushes the Legion's headquarters and throws it into the ocean, while Superman attacks the Legion. Even when the Legion overwhelms him through numeric superiority, the Justice League and Young Justice arrive to even the oods. Brainiac attacks the heroes with a barrage of laser fire. Superman attempts to help his friends but Sinestro hits him with an energy beam from his ultraviolet ring, causing a huge explosion.

In the present, both sides regroup and resume the battle while Mark Shaw, the leader of Leviathan, has a private conversation with the rest of Leviathan's leadership. He reveals to them that he never trusted Lex, blaming him for the current state of the world, and he plans to betray him, just as he brings Leviathan Island into the skies of Metropolis.
