Synopsis for "Warworld Revolution, Part Two"
It is revealed that Orphan's parents were Valeronian scientists who were studying the Source Wall when it breached. Orphan's pregnant mother was obliterated by the Source energy but Darling, the family's pet "technofamiliar", saved his life by cannibalising her body and forming an artificial womb around him. They were found by Teacher and taken back to Warworld for study, as Orphan's body had been saturated with the Source energy, giving him great power.
Orphan wakes up in the rebel base and agrees to help Superman rescue Enchantress if he will reunite him with Darling. He also tells them that to harness the power of Genesis they will need the help of someone far away, who Natasha realises is her uncle John Henry Irons. The Authority and Orphan head out to rescue June from Mother, and before he goes Superman gifts Osul-Ra and Otho-Ra with koltaris, traditional children's games from Kandor. Meanwhile, Mongul's alchemists are attempting to raise Lightray from the dead, but without Teacher's expertise they are unable to do so, as she has been dead for too long. Over OMAC's objections, Mongul decides to turn Lia into an Unmade rather than restore her fully to life.
Orphan teleports the Authority to Mother's lair. They find June but are attacked by Mother and a horde of reanimated corpses. Orphan obliterates the undead with an energy blast and teleports Mother away to Mongul's throne room. Mother attacks Mongul in a rage, claiming that he failed to uphold their bargain, but Mongul kills her, saying she is no longer useful to him. He takes Mother's body to the alchemists and to OMAC's horror they fuse it with Lia's, resurrecting her as a monster. The hooded scavenger tells Mongul that faced with Lia's power Superman will have no choice but to claim the Fire of Olgrun, just as they have planned.

Synopsis for "A World Without Clark Kent, Part One"
On Earth, Lois Lane, Steel and Supergirl are attempting to heal Thao-La by exposing her to small doses of Genesis, but that only makes her worse. Her body drains all the energy from her life support tank, so Supergirl breaks her out and carries her into space to be restored by the sun. Natasha is able to contact John through Genesis and tells him that Genesis needs to be refined before it can help Thao-La. Meanwhile at Belle Reve, Amanda Waller offers convicted supervillain Conduit a chance for clemency if he will steal Genesis from the Superman Family.
