Synopsis for "House of Metallo"

The Superman Family battle Metallo and during the fight overhear him speaking to what he believes is Luthor. Despite Corben's increased strength, Superman is able to stop him by freezing him solid and dumping him in orbit. Later that evening they watch the news report on the events which blames dangerous technology from Warworld rather than Metallo, who was not seen by the crowd. Otho-Ra asks who Metallo is, and when Steel explains that he is a dying brain controlling a robotic shell, she says he sounds like an Unmade, the undead warriors of Warworld.

In space, Metallo receives a signal from what appears to be Tracy. She tells him that Superman has locked her up in a prison for supervillains, and he needs to kill the entire Superman Family to save her. Back on Earth, Clark tells the others that during the fight he checked in on Luthor in prison with his x-ray vision, and Lex wasn't doing anything despite Metallo supposedly communicating with him; which means that, while Luthor did mastermind Metallo's escape from prison, he's not the one currently giving him orders. Clark says that if Metallo's new body was based on the Unmade, then someone is controlling him, likely without his knowledge.

Metallo crashes back down to Earth near a band of Blue Earth terrorists. He teleports them all to his base and tells them that he will forcibly convert them into cyborgs like him to fight the Superman Family.

Synopsis for "Home Again, Part Two"

Lloyd Crayton, having come out of a coma and walked out of S.T.A.R. Labs, makes his way from Metropolis to California, instinctively honing in on Superman's location. Meanwhile, at the Kent's farm, the mysterious alien emerges from her crashed spaceship and introduces herself to Jon as Princess Glyanna of P'luhnn. She asks him to take her to "the Kryptonian" who rules Earth, and Jon realises she means Superman. He tells her that Superman is a hero but not a king, much to her surprise as on her world the strongest being rules.

Suddenly, a tracking system on her ship activates, which means her enemies are nearby. She tries to destroy the tracker with energy from her hands, but it is taking too long and so Jon destroys it with his heat vision, revealing to Glyanna that he is Superman's son. Suddenly, they are attacked by a robot which Glyanna identifies as a Killamek, one of her father's enemy's soldiers. It captures them both in an energy field. Jon calls for help and Clark hears him and flies to him. At the same time Lloyd Crayton, midway through transforming back into Doombreaker, appears at the door to the farmhouse and begs Lois to help him.

Synopsis for "Power Girl in Head Like a Whole, Part Two"

Omen and Power Girl's new patient, which to Power Girl's annoyance turns out to be Supergirl, comes to their office. Supergirl has mysteriously lost the ability to speak coherently and wants them to find out why. Power Girl enters her mindscape, and sees that Supergirl's mental image is wearing an elaborate dress, which she says indicates her counterpart's high opinion of herself. She doesn't recognise Supergirl's mindscape, and Supergirl gently reveals that it is Argo City on Krypton, stirring up Power Girl's resentment that Supergirl got to grow up on Krypton with her parents, while Power Girl was raised by her ship's A.I.

As they fly over the mental city, Omen tells them to look for anything related to speech in Supergirl's mindscape. As they search, Power Girl implies that Supergirl's problems may be self-inflicted and psychosomatic, irritating her. Back in the physical world, Supergirl frustratedly mutters under he breath in English, and Omen privately tells Power Girl to continue to annoy her.

Kara dives down into a sculpture garden and starts wandering around. As Supergirl gets angry, the statues begin to crack and Power Girl continues to goad her, accusing her of constantly working very heard to appear perfect. She tells Supergirl that she knows all her secret insecurities as they are essentially the same person. They start to fight, smashing the constructs in Supergirl's mindscape, until she screams out loud for Power Girl to get out of her mind, her speech restored.

Power Girl tells her that she was subjected to some kind of psychic attack on her speech centre, and because she was so high-strung she tried to suppress it instead of fighting it, but her anger released the block in her mind. She points out a plinth in the garden topped with a black rose, with a message to Power Girl from a "J.S." engraved on it. In Lilith's office, a vase of roses change colour to black.

Power Girl and Supergirl wake up and Power Girl suggests that someone attacked Supergirl's speech centre in an attempt to get a message to her, as she is now psychically shielded. She points out that whoever it is assumed they were close and didn't realise she is seen as the "black sheep" of the Superman Family and is rarely included by the others, which Supergirl shamefacedly admits is true. Lilith asks Supergirl to make a follow-up appointment and bring Jon Kent so they can get to the bottom of the attack.
