Synopsis for "Tech Alive"

A horde of Necro-Drones now known as the "Necrohive" attack A-Town, the apartment complex in Metropolis where the Warworld refugees are housed. The Superman Family battle the Necrohive, and hear Hank Henshaw speak through them, despite the fact that he is in the Phantom Zone. Henshaw tells them through the drones that Luthor reverse-engineered his digital consciousness to create an advanced operating system, and that he can control anything it is installed in remotely from the Zone; including Metallo's new body and the drones which are based on it.

They are unable to locate Tracy Corben but Clark realises that Henshaw has likely created a new body for himself using Kryptonian DNA, and that if they could track it they would likely find her too. Against Supergirl's advice and his own better judgement, he activates a copy of the Eradicator. This Eradicator possesses the original programming and none of the memories of the Eradicator which the Superman Family have fought multiple times. As such it is totally loyal to Superman, the last Kryptonian; although it still considers any deviation from "pure" Kryptonian life to be "abominations". Clark asks it to track cloned Kryptonian DNA bonded to a cybernetic frame and the Eradicator quickly locates such a being, Henshaw's new prime body, at Metropolis's abandoned Racine National Airport.

Clark, along with Metallo, Conner, Steel, the Eradicator and the Super-Twins fly to the airport; while the rest of the Superman Family protect A-Town. Metallo tells them to hurry and Otho-Ra orders him to be silent; but Superman reminds her that they're trying to save his sister, and tells her that adversaries can work together for a common purpose, and even become friends. The see a hole in the ground and dive down, finding a tunnel lined with technology and metal tentacles. One of them grabs Osul-Ra by the ankle and Metallo chops it off. Otho-Ra yells at him to stay away from her brother but Metallo says she doesn't need to be afraid of him. He says that they remind him of him and Tracy, and reveals that he killed their father when he tried to beat Tracy; setting him on the path that ended with him becoming Metallo.

Osul-Ra tells Corben he's sorry for what happened to him, much to his surprise. He tells them that he doesn't regret his choices, as he believes he would always have ended up as a killer and that Tracy got a better life away from him and their father. He suggests that once they save Tracy things will get better, and he may even have a chance at redemption. They enter a chamber, where Henshaw is waiting for them in his new body. Superman tells them they're there for Tracy Corben, but to their horror she has been converted into a Kryptonite-powered cyborg just like John. She attacks them, being puppeteered against her will like the Necrohive.
