Synopsis for "New Worlds, Part One"
While Superman is having lunch and sharing parenting advice with an ex-con named Glen, he hears Lois calling him to get to the Daily Planet immediately. He flies over and changes into civilian clothes. Lois tells him that the leader of Blue Earth has, on very short notice, offered an exclusive interview to the Planet; and she insists that she will only talk to Clark Kent. Despite staff members warning Lois that Blue Earth are terrorists and want to use the Planet to launder their reputation, Lois agrees.
An hour later Blue Earth's leader Norah Stone arrives with her bodyguard Dorian. She is wearing a bracelet with a green jewel that slowly drains Clark's powers. During the interview Clark confronts Norah with Blue Earth's history of violence and hateful rhetoric, but Norah claims that Blue Earth denounces violence and any members who committed crimes against alien were rogue lone wolves. With his powers Clark can easily tell she is lying, but she is able to debate well and frame Blue Earth's mission as the preservation of humanity. As the interview is wrapping up, Norah tells Clark that she is trying to make her world safer and that Earth is her home, which he also detects as a lie.
After Norah leaves, Clark tells Lois that he thinks he has seen her before and plans to follow her; although Lois notices that he appears unwell. Clark goes into an elevator and Dorian follows him in. Dorian attacks Clark, revealing that he can fly and has super-strength, while Clark is too weak to fight back as his powers have been drained. Dorian tells Clark that it is his fault his people came to Earth and shapeshifts to resemble him. He tells Superman that he will show Earth what happens when people put their faith in a monster.

Synopsis for "Home Again, Part Seven"
Clark is able to follow the sound of Jon's rhythmic banging on his cell wall and free him just before he runs out of air. Glyanna is shocked that her plan failed and screams that Superman doesn't get to win, but a mysterious figure communicating with her via hologram tells her it is over and she needs to escape. Glyanna runs through the palace with a floating orb projecting the hologram following her. Superman and Jon smash in through a wall and confront her but Glyanna unleashes the Killameks on the civilian population, forcing them to let her escape while they save the people. Meanwhile back on Earth, the stasis beam holding Doombreaker fails and he leaps at Lois, but is teleported away almost immediately.
On P'luhnn, Clark and Jon defeat the Killameks, but Glyanna is long gone. Glyanna's parents approach them and tell them that an off-worlder influenced Glyanna to do her evil deeds and seems to have her under some kind of spell. Glyanna flees P'luhnn in her ship and complains to the hologram that running away is humiliating, but her mysterious mentor tells her to check the hold and Glyanna finds Doombreaker there, held by two stasis beams. Jon and Clark return to Earth and reunite with Lois.

Synopsis for "Super Is As Super Does"
After returning from space, Superboy is still trying to find an identity of his own; including reducing his resemblance to Superman by dyeing a red streak in his hair, which is ironically similar to Travv, a villain he encountered during his solo adventures. He has also been skipping school and Martha Kent tries to talk to him about it and his recent moodiness, but he speeds off after getting a text. Conner again ditches school to hang out with his new girlfriend: Miss Martian.
They talk and M'gann complains about the strain of constantly holding a humanoid form. She says that sometimes she wishes she could just stop, and Conner says she is lucky that she can stop if she wants. M'gann asks him what he means and, rather than try to explain it, he allows her into his mind. He shows her a recurring nightmare he has where he fights and is killed by Doomsday just like Clark was, but when he is dead everyone only remembers Clark and forgets him. Conner reveals that he believes people will only see him as a minor part of Clark's story and won't remember him. He complains that he will never get to be Superman and when M'gann says he doesn't have to be, he tells her he has no idea who he is: he was created to be a "backup Superman", and he's not even that now that Jon Kent is Superman's natural successor.
Conner gets angrier, ranting that he is living in Superman's shadow. M'gann tries to psychically "hug" him, but he angrily forces her out of his mind. He tells her to never do that again and flies away. He returns to the Kent Farm at three in the morning. Martha has been waiting up for him and again tries to talk to him, but he just heads up to his, formerly Clark's, room. M'gann sends him an unseen text, to which he simply replies "No".

Notes
- The "Super Is As Super Does" story takes place after the events of Superboy: The Man of Tomorrow (Volume 1).
- Conner Kent's story continues in Superman (Volume 6) and Speed Force (Volume 2) #1.
- The New 52 Superboy is shown as part of a group of Conner Kent's past selves. In the last period of the DC Rebirth era, the New 52 Conner Kent was shown to be a separate character to the current version, who is a continuation of the pre-Flashpoint character. However, as of this issue, the two counterparts have somehow merged into a single being which is likely a result of the "unknotting" of the timeline and the rebirth of the Multiverse.
- "Home Again, Part Seven" is collected in Superman: Lois and Clark - Doom Rising.
Trivia
- Superboy and Miss Martian are revealed to be in a relationship, a reference to their Earth-16 counterparts from the Young Justice animated show.
