Synopsis for "Captive of the Amazons"

Clark Kent and Lois Lane are sent on assignment to learn what they can about the mysterious actress named Jenna, who is appearing in Ajax Film's latest science fiction film "Journey Into the Asteroid." Boarding a new experimental space craft, Lois tries to prove Jenna about which actor she will pick for her lead in the film when the jets sputter out. Pretending to eject from the ship, Clark changes into Superman and saves them all from a crash. In gratitude for saving her life, Jenna asks Superman to be the male lead in the film. Racing back to the ejection seat to resume his Clark Kent guise when rescuers come for him, Clark learns that Jenna has selected Kent to be her male lead.

Thinking this will go great for his story, Clark soon finds himself aboard a real ship, and the women -- knowing his true identity of Superman -- weaken him with Kryptonite and they bring him to their planet Adora. Jenna demands that Superman be her new husband (she had five that were all killed fighting rebel robots) and in order to insure his loyalty, she demonstrates their planet destroying weapon to insure he does what they tell him. When Superman doesn't show any passion or love towards her romantic advances, the bitter Jenna has one of her planets scientists create a love potion to make him love her. Superman appears to be effected by the potion however, he becomes exceedingly careless with his powers causing lots of property damage when he goes to get her things, and later when she asks her fathers permission to marry her.

When Superman is told to quell a robot rebellion he destroys the rogue machines but destroys the planets water supply in the process. Fed up with his bungling, Jenna annuls their marriage. Superman, having been pretending the whole time simply goes into space and gets a large chunk of ice to replace the water that was lost. In return she agrees to destroy the planet destroyer and allow Superman to return home. Watching him from her telescope, Jenna wonders what Superman sees in Lois Lane.

Synopsis for "The World's Mightiest Cat!"

Superman and Krypto have come to visit the Midvale Orphanage to put on a show. This show inspires imaginative Paul Dexter, who believes that Streaky could have super-powers as well. Putting a miniature Superman cape on the feline, he tries to convince the feline to do super-feats and is disappointed when Streaky proves to be just an ordinary cat. However, Streaky's daily playing puts the cat into contact with the X-Kryptonite chunk (caught in a ball of yarn in the orphanages basement) which revives his lost super-powers.

Naturally, Streaky goes to Paul to show off his super-powers much to Paul's surprise. When Paul tries to show his fellow orphans Streaky's flying ability the X-Kryptonite wares off and the other children dismiss Paul's discovery as pure imagination. Exposing himself to the X-Kryptonite again, Streaky shows more super-powers to Paul, biting through a lamp. This time as Paul goes to get the others, Supergirl happens by in her identity of Linda Lee and quickly repairs the lamp, and once more when the other children show up they dismiss Paul's claims.

Similarly, when Streaky uproots a tree, Supergirl secretly reverses the damage before other children can see. After destroying a scientific missile, Streaky lands on a teeter totter that Paul is sitting on. However, before Paul can get his peers once more, Supergirl distracts Streaky with a toy mouse that she throws into space.

Seeing an African tribe in trouble from rampaging animals, Supergirl takes Streaky with her and the pair save the tribes people. Returning to Midvale, Streaky's powers wear off and Supergirl and Streaky return to the orphanage, Supergirl resuming her civilian guise. There, she finds that Paul's "fibbing" has gotten him into trouble with the Superintendent who has Paul try to prove his claims. So as not to get Paul into trouble, Supergirl calls Superman for help, who sends Krypto to the orphanage, who makes it appear as though he was the one doing all the super-feats and acting as though it was a trick being played on Paul.
