Synopsis for Superman: "Clark Kent--Target for Murder!"

Clark Kent has a contract put on his head by gang-boss "King" Kobra, and Superman, in disguise, takes the job of rubbing himself out.

Superman can laugh off death threats. But when Lois Lane is nearly killed by an electrified typewriter smuggled into the DAILY PLANET offices; The Man Of Steel resorts to a rare disguise and infiltrates the underworld as hired gun Dead-Shot Daniels; plus publishing false news stories under Clark Kent's byline that tout Dead-Shot's ruthlessness.

Kobra remains hidden from sight and sends underlings to hire "Daniels", so Clark must make it look good. A sniper-rifle hidden in a tree is fired by remote control and Clark and his car sink out of sight in the river.

Brought before the "invisible" big Boss at last, Superman wastes no time in arresting him---and carrying the 300-pound crimelord to jail with one hand.

Supergirl plans to marry Tor-An, even though her telepathic friends Comet and Jerro warn her that he is shielding his thoughts from them. Comet, Jerro, and Lori Lemaris summon Saturn Girl of the Legion of Super-Heroes from the future. She uses her superior mental powers to read Tor-An's mind, divine his scheme, and take Supergirl's place at the wedding in disguise. Tor-An is recaptured and later returned to the Phantom Zone.
