Synopsis for Superman: "My Son... Is He Man or Beast?"

Superman attends funeral services for a Nobel Prize scientist Dr Jan Nagy. He enounters the surviving son named Gregor who seems to have a great resentment for Superman. The resentment grows as Nagy's will is read and Superman is appointed as Gregors legal guardian. Gregor reveals that Superman is responsible for turning him into a freak when he rescued Gregor from a chemical reaction that cursed him with beastly powers. Gregor also has the power to turn invisible at will along with other amazing abilities. Superman takes Gregor under his wing training him to use his powers to fight crime and serve the public good. Gregor does well with his training until he is forced to mimic Superman in an underwater rescue. As Gregor rescues a sunken submarine, he suddenly loses his super powers and is crushed by the oceans immense underwater pressure. He dies in Supermans arms as he turns to sand. Superman declares that for a brief moment he had the son that he always dreamed of as he grieves by his side.

Synopsis for Superman and Supergirl: "Duel of Doom!"

Two Kandorian students, Yllura and Arvor, face a graduation exercise of conducting "an original exploration into Kandor's past." Both are rivals, with Yllura idolizing Supergirl and Arvor hero-worshipping Superman. But, when each gets in trouble on their archaeological trip, they help each other to reach safety. Realizing that teamwork is necessary for success, Arvor and Yllura call off their rivalry. Later, they are awarded a joint trophy by Superman and Supergirl.
