Synopsis for "The Last Moa on Earth!"
A hunter shoots an attacking bird known as a Moa. He is unaware that it is the last of its species. The hunter locates its egg in hopes of hatching it and reviving the species. The hunter falls ill and Superman finds that the egg is sapping energy from the hunter. The egg soon hatches and the baby Moa goes off in search of its natural habitat. As Superman attempts to recover the baby Moa he finds that it has acquired special abilities due to strange gases that surrounded the egg when it hatched. Superman recovers the baby Moa and returns it back to its habitat. He builds a protective fence around the area to keep the Moa safe.

Synopsis for "13 Old Men Who Run the World!"
The Atom has to save Jean Loring from a ganglord who wants a man she is defending in court sent to prison for a crime the ganglord committed? Dr Hans Selzheim is being framed by the mob for the theft of gold. The theft was supposedly orchestrated by 13 men in Geneva but in truth the crime was masterminded by a crime lord named Declemente who needed a scapegoat. Ray Palmer rescues his fiancé Jean and himself in the end.

Synopsis for "The Short-Walk-to-Disaster Contract!, Clause 1"
Christopher Chance takes in a contract for a circus owner that has been experiencing mysterious accidents in his circus. He is worried that one of his performers will be killed while attempting a walk across Niagra falls. Chance takes the performers place and is immediately attacked with a flying bowling pin to the face. He goes after the would be assasin but a s cornered on the last panel with a gun pointed at him.
