Even a Superman can learn something from the old storyteller-- Like the fact that some people can only believe in the reality of what they see and touch... while to others, imagination is so real it might as well be truth!

Synopsis for Superman: "The Man Who Created Superman!"
Superman encounters a hermit on a deserted island with the uncanny ability to tell stories. He seems to be the only inhabitant of the island but he spends his time telling stories to the animals there. He has the ability to tell a story which aligns with events in the past and then predicts how the stories will end through logical reasoning. His endings are very accurate and make it seem like he can tell the future. He makes up a story about Superman dismantling a monster bomb that is being tested in the ocean. The bomb proves to be too powerful and Superman has to diffuse it by ejecting it into a time barrier where it would do no harm. All these details were conjured up by the old man and they come to pass. In the end Superman returns the old man back to civilization where he helps him obtain a job as a storyteller at a children’s zoo.

Synopsis for The Atom: "The Girl with The 24-Karat Dreams!"
Ray Palmer is working in his lab when he realizes that it has been turned into 24 karat gold. Italian transfer student Enrichetta Negrini enters and informs Palmer that she has obtained the ability to turn things and people into gold by merely dreaming about them. She fears that she may have turned her fiancée Roberto into gold since she had a dream about him too. Palmer leaves to go look for Roberto and advises Enrichetta to go make a pot of coffee to keep her awake and prevent herself from dreaming any further. Palmer flies across the city and notices two security guards loading the golden figure of Roberto into a truck. He engages the fake security guards but they knock the Atom unconscious with a swat of the arm. Atom comes to a little later but then realizes that is right hand is turning to gold. He figures that Enrichetta has somehow starting dreaming again. Palmer is unaware that she has been abducted by member of the same gang that he encountered.
