Synopsis for Green Lantern: "Heroes"
Green Lantern and Captain Atom, still unable to trust each other and work as a team, continue tracking the hostile alien visitor. The military pinpoint some weird power outages happening in Los Angeles, and the heroes head there immediately. When Green Lantern is about to charge his ring, they assist on the evacuation of a building that is collapsing on itself. While Green Lantern holds the structure together, Captain Atom heads indoors to help the people trapped inside. Hours pass, and they learn that the alien visitor (still disguised as the action movie character "Randy Violent") is the cause of the crumbling building. GL urges Captain Atom to wait and formulate a plan together, but the Atom rushes in, leaving Green Lantern to hold the fragile structure with all his willpower.
