Synopsis for "My Lady Maxima!"

Maxima comes to Earth looking for Superman to take him as her mate. She finds out that the people of the Daily Planet might know something about Superman's residence. She visits them, but they are not useful to her search either, so she leaves them in some sort of hypnotic trance and disappears from the scene. Clark arrives at the Planet and finds his coworkers in that zombie-like state. Clark wakes them up, and they tell him about Maxima.

Maxima decides to flush Superman out by making a riot at City Hall. Superman arrives at the scene and disables Maxima's soldiers, then confronts her inside the Hall. Sazu strikes Superman with a telepathic attack, but she thinks Superman is not worthy to be Maxima's mate because he refused to kill his opponents. So Sazu betrays Maxima and destroys her simulacrum form, disappearing from Earth. Superman breaks free from the telepathic attack, knocking Sazu unconscious. Maxima reappears in her spaceship, determined to return to Earth and take Superman for herself.
