Action Comics #661 is an issue of the series Action Comics (Volume 1) with a cover date of January, 1991.

Synopsis for "Stretching a Point!"

Plastic Man and his partner Woozy Winks arrive at Metropolis and meet Jimmy Olsen at the airport. The stretching hero stops a thief and, before the media could surround the bizarre scene, Jimmy drives them in his car. During the trip, Plastic Man explains to Jimmy that a private investigator called Philo Phaxx told him someone named "T.B." would arrive at Metropolis that day.

Meanwhile, Superman stops some Intergang smugglers and, inside their ship, he finds a computer screen with the memo "T.B. arrives today". Before he could read the whole text, the ship explodes.

Jimmy takes the Plastic Man and Woozy to Suicide Slum, where he finds Bibbo opening his new bar. Jimmy calls Clark to ask him if he ever heard of some underworld shipment called T.B. The reporter is surprised by the question and tells Jimmy that Superman might know something, so he changes to his Superman suit and flies to the scene. Superman finds Plastic Man and Woozy at the harbor, looking for any sign of T.B., but they are suddenly attacked by a meta-human calling himself Time-Bomb, who can blow up and reform any part of his body. Superman helps Plastic Man defeat T.B., ending their investigation and giving Jimmy Olsen the exclusive for the Daily Planet.
