- It is good to be back in action. This is what I was meant to do. Every time I remove a criminal from the streets it's a tribute to my father.

Synopsis for "Paper Trail"
Clark and Lois organize a dinner for their parents to meet. In the middle of the evening, they receive the report of a fire-bombing at the Daily Planet's printing plant, perpetrated by Intergang agents disguised as strike protesters. Clark and Lois get out of the apartment and arrive at the scene. There, Superman finds out that the vigilante Thorn intercepted the perpetrators, so he follows her trail.
Superman finds Thorn at a railyard, where the Intergang agents told her they would strike next. Together, they stop two special agents from stealing money paper from one of the trains. Superman saves Thorn from one of the agents about to blast her, but he accidentally causes the gun to explode. The thieves get knocked down and delivered to the authorities.
The following day, Ma and Pa Kent leave Metropolis and return to Kansas. Still not happy by Intergang's continuous attacks, Clark decides it's time to put a stop to them.
