Synopsis for "Doc Parasite!"
At S.T.A.R. Labs, Torval Freeman, after his encounter with Lex Luthor, stumbles to a mirror and finds that the Parasite has been released from within him. As Luthor rides by, accompanied by the shadowy figure who refers to their "mutual master", the Parasite begins a destruction rampage, absorbing the life essence of one of Freeman's co-workers. Freeman immediately finds himself in an internal dialogue with Rudy Jones, the original persona of the Parasite.
Unaware of these events, Superman unwinds after a wasted trip to Iceland. The next morning, Perry White assigns him to S.T.A.R. Labs to cover a radiation leak. Superman heads there rather than Clark, where his partner, Lois Lane, competes with Jimmy Olsen over the story.
Superman's confrontation with his old foe leaves him surprised. The parasite not only runs from the fright, but heads to a computer. The Centurions -- a pale facade for the old Team Luthor arrive on the scene along with the SCU. Superman falls into the clutches of the Parasite, who drains his power -- and his life essence.
