Synopsis for "Sodom and Gomorrah"

Superman wakes up to find that Lana Lang has been caring for him during his incapacity. Lana tells him that the doctor told Superboy that he would probably sleep a lot and suffer temporary loss of powers while he was healing. Superman is grateful, but when Lana begins to talk about his relationship with Lois, he gets angry, particularly when she suggests that Lois should be here. Both of them know that Lois is on assignment in the nation of Umec and can't be contacted. Clark tells Lana that he loves Lois and he's never going to leave her. Lana says she knows that, but she doesn't understand it. Lana tells Clark that Lois married the perfect man, and when he is hurting now, Lois isn't there. Unable to listen to any more, Clark leaves on patrol, where he finds Sodom and Gomorrah, a husband and wife team of villains, who declare as their chance to kill Superman.

Superman engages the duo in a fierce fight. Regardless, Superman overcomes and separates them. Gomorrah tries to stop the Man of Steel from hitting her husband, but when she realizes that they aren't going to win she takes to the skies and flee, leaving Sodom. Superman tells Sodom that Gomorrah obviously needs someone stronger than him.
