Synopsis for "New Krypton (Part X of X) - Birth of a Nation"
At Project 7734, General Sam Lane watches the battle on the North Pole as Lex Luthor examines the remains of Doomsday. Lex demands to be released and unlimited access to his resources, but Lane retorts Lex is making two mistakes: he wants all to be about him, and he intends to kill Superman quickly rather slowly.
At New Krypton, the heroes of Earth fight against the Kryptonians loyal to Alura In-Ze (which are nearly all of them). Superman's friends want him to withdraw as Zatanna casts a spell, but Superman still looks to find a peaceful solution. Gor interrupts their talk to attack Superman, but the Man of Steel punches him across the city. Supergirl approaches her cousin and apologizes for hitting him as trying to protect her mother. Superman accepts her apology and asks where is Alura. Kara answers her mother has gone to "fixing everything".
Alan Scott wraps both cousins in a magical bubble as Captain Marvel and Zatanna combine their magic to depower temporarily several thousands of Kryptonians. The heroes are wondering how to handle the remainder Kandorians when Stargirl points out a group of Kryptonians are flying away.
Several dozens of Kryptonians uproot all of New Krypton and a sizable volume of ice beneath it. The heroes quickly evacuate as a protective dome covers the city. Supergirl remembers her father asking her to watch out for her mother and flies inside the dome, but Superman can't pierce through it. Alura coldly states they are no longer welcome in his planet and he will not be welcome in theirs.
Kandor floats up into outer space and takes position in geosynchronous orbit around the Sun - on the opposite side of Earth's orbital path. The Sunstone lattice that makes up the city's architecture, grows and forms a spherical planetoid beneath New Krypton.
Back on Earth, news spread. On Kent Farm, Lois Lane and Lana Lang discuss that now people fears Kryptonians but Superman and demand to take measures against them. Lois hopes Superman and Supergirl can show everyone humans and aliens can coexist peacefully, but Lana is skeptical.
Meanwhile, Clark visits his father's grave and remembers his last words: do whatever he needs and to not let anybody stop him.
Agent Liberty sneaks into Project 7734 where Lane and Luthor are conducting their experiments with Doomsday and Brainiac. He is discovered ad murdered by Superwoman.
On New Krypton, Supergirl elects to stay behind to be with her mother. She doesn't condone Alura's actions, but feels that she needs to be with her family. Alura congratulates Kara and states that she will restore honor to the House of El. When Kara leaves, Alura meets with a group of loyal Kryptonians and assures them that Kara will make a fine soldier. She is speaking to General Zod, Ursa and Non.
