Synopsis for "Superman, Meet Clark Kent - Part 2"

Superman takes Clark Kent to the Fortress of Solitude to confirm the latter is the "real" Clark Kent. An upset Kent tells Superman that the "other" Superman knew about Geneticron and was responsible for sending him into hiding. Superman calms Kent and tries to find a reason to verify this odd situation in which he orders Kelex to bring an alien artifact, the Globe of Revelation, to uncover Kent's true memories.

Meanwhile at the Geneticron building, the unknown man seen from Clark Kent's press conference plants a strange device on the building.

Back at the Fortress, the globe reveals that Clark Kent is real and human. He was adopted and raised by the Kents, have friends with Lana Lang and Pete Ross, and joined the Daily Planet. But his life changed when his investigation into Geneticron put him in grave danger. The previous Superman took Clark to the Rocky Mountains and offered to take his place; his solution was to let the world think that Clark and Superman are one and the same until he took down Geneticron. But not long after that he lost his powers and his plan to help Clark went up in smokes as he tried to deal with his own problems. Suddenly he stopped coming to check on Clark, who spent in isolation unaware of the events that led to the original Superman's death until now.

This revelation is enough to convince Superman that Clark Kent is Clark Kent. Kent is still upset of Superman looking into his personal life and demands why Superman is "afraid" of him, why he refuse to accept him as Clark Kent, and who he is. Superman really want to explain to Kent that he "is" Clark Kent in another life, but not without risking Lois and Jon's existence. So Superman could only answer that he is Superman, but not the one everyone knows, but a Superman nonetheless. Superman then request Clark's help to tell the people to trust the new Superman and that he is here for them. He also gives Clark a wristwatch that will call for his help if he is in any trouble.

Superman is then notified by Kelex that their hack into Geneticron is complete. He and Clark views a security footage of the company keeping a sedated Doomsday before he was taken by the masked men and unleashed on Metropolis. They race back to the city and are shocked to find the entire Geneticron building to its very foundation gone. They find Jimmy Olsen on the scene and he explains to them that the building disappeared in a flash of light this morning just as its employees were about to enter the building. Superman swears to get to the bottom of this.

Later that day, Clark writes a story about his day with Superman; about a Superman that the world does not know, but a Superman that the world fortunately needs.

Superman returns to home and shows Lois and Jon an escape tunnel underneath their house whenever they need to avoid suspicions and in case of an emergency.

The mysterious man goes into his home and inside is a portal showing what looks like the planet Apokolips with the Superman crest embedded into it. The man states "The path is clear. The only answer is death."
