Synopsis for "Superman's Doomsday Decision"

In Metropolis, Superman puts on a breathing apparatus and then runs faster then he's ever run before to propel himself into space. When he touches down on the alien spaceship, tendrils coming from the ship shock Superman and bring him inside the ship to analyze. Hearing a broadcast from Metropolis Radio, Superman heads toward the sound while destroying robots. He finds a room full of bottled cities and recognizes Kandor from his dreams.
In the bottled New Troy, once center of Metropolis, Lois Lane confronts Lex Luthor about the recent events. Looking into the sky with binoculars, Luthor realizes they are trapped in a bottle and miniaturized. Jimmy Olsen notices destructive mechanical spiders and they all take cover inside the Glenmorgan Hotel to find Mr. Glenmorgan inside. Lex Luthor calls the alien, revealing his connections, and asks about their deal. Outside the window, they see a giant Superman watching over the city.
In the spaceship, the Collector of Worlds wants Superman to choose whether to save Metropolis or Kandor to satisfy his own curiosity. Superman refuses to let any life be lost and instead he grabs an invulnerable Kryptonian suit to fight back. When he puts on the suit, it changes from white to blue with his family emblem. The Collector warns him to join the Collection or die.

Synopsis for "Meanwhile..."

In Metropolis after Superman has taken off, John Henry Irons holds up the Hob's River supspension bridge until everyone evacuates. He decides he needs to design a helmet for his suit's upgrade as the brige collapses. He borrows a cellphone and calls his niece, Natasha, to let her know that he is ok. Next he saves a ferry and helps where he is needed, realizing that he can't be everywhere and that he is not the only hero, but one of millions all working together.
