Synopsis for "Planet Heist, Part V"
Adam Strange and the Omega Men have found an Omega-Beam with the power to teleport an entire star system into another universe. Tigorr reveals that the research station was set to self-destruct when they arrived, meaning someone knew the technology was too powerful to fall into the wrong hands. The Spider Guild arrives and begins to attack. Strange and Artin discover that the beam has only been used twice: to beam a dying star to the Rann solar system, and to beam a person from the research station to Maltus. The Omega Men re-activate the station's self destruct system, taking down the Spider Guild fleet along with it.
Strange and the Omega Men travel to Maltus. Unbenkownst to them, Doc has been killed and is being impersonated by a Durlan spy sent by Sh'ri Valkyr. Vril Dox, having been contacted by the Spider Guild, has orders out for Strange and the Omega Man's arrest if they're seen anywhere. Strange tracks down and chases the person who used the Omega-Beam and discovers it's Sardath.
