Synopsis for "Planet Heist, Part 7"
Adam Strange is reunited with his family, having at last found Rann. Sardath explains the mystery behind the planet's disappearance to Strange, the Omega Men and Vril Dox. After creating the Omega-Beam, Sardath realized how a resurrected Starbreaker might use it to destroy the universe. He decided to fake the destruction of Rann in order to hide the technology from Starbreaker and Sh'ri Valkyr. There wasn't time to tell Strange what was happening, and they were afraid that he was being watched by the Thanagarians.
At that moment, Valkyr's ship Zeta-beams in and begins to attack while Luciphage begins to consume Rann's stars for energy. Vril Dox beams himself off Rann, leaving the others behind to fight alone. They realize that they can trap Luciphage in this universe if they beam Rann out of it, but first they have to destroy the zeta-beam on Valkyr's ship.
