Adolf Hitler is one of history's greatest dictators. He was leader of the Nazi Party, and rose to power in Germany, establishing a national socialist state. Under his leadership, Germany's programs and military aggressions led to the outbreak of World War II in Europe. In addition, he is responsible for the persecution of millions of people in Europe; the Final Solution. Hitler was a real life person, although he was first used as a DC Comics character by Bill Finger in Green Lantern #3. (1942)
