Synopsis for "The Monster and the Mermaid"

An old sailor goes to a sideshow and sees a "sea elephant" that's just a stuffed whale with an elephant's head sewn on. He hits on a similar idea and opens a show with what appears to be a mermaid swimming in a tank, which makes Aquaman suspicious. In all his journeys he's never once seen a real mermaid.

That night Aquaman has the good fortune to interrupt the scammers with the "sea elephant" kidnapping the mermaid to put her on display in their own show. Once she's rescued, it comes out that she was really the sailor's daughter in a costume. Aquaman suggests they stop pretending to have a real mermaid on display, and instead modify their show to simply have girls in mermaid costumes putting on water ballet.
