Synopsis for Supergirl: "I Am a Witch!"

Once she has dealt with the villains of the Phantom Zone, Supergirl confronts the inventor Amos Ameswell.[1] The man claims to have mastered the black magic arts, but Supergirl dismisses his words as superstitious nonsense. He challenges her to break superstitions on this day, Friday the 13th, including spilling a lot of salt. Supergirl gladly does so, and then she proceeds to leave the house to prove him wrong.

But afterwards, wherever she tries to do a good deed, she ends up wreaking destruction instead. She rues having laughed at superstition and flies away, considering to banish herself to the Phantom Zone-

Amos Ameswell, who has been watching her misfortunes on a monitor, is pleased that he will not have to worry about her when he uses his inventions to terrorize people. Then he reveals he was missing the last twelve years because he built a time machine to meet ancient masters of magic.

As he is gloating, Supergirl bursts through the wall and smashes his time machine to pieces. When she was breaking down she realized that the "salt" Ameswell had her spill was secretly a powder loaded with his "anti-mass destructive element". Supergirl cleansed the powder from her person and headed back to the house.

Having solved the case, she takes Ameswell to jail.
