Synopsis for Supergirl: "The Space Pirates"
Linda Danvers is kidnapped by a group of space pirates and brought before their Commander. The Commander explains he intends to destroy Earth but she's has been spared to become his mate. While he rambles on the honour of her being the mate of "the one who is destined to rule the universe" despite her "inferior breeding", Linda changes into Supergirl. Astonished by her refusing his "gracious offer" and calling him a "dangerous fanatic", the Commander fires a ray blast at her. Believing her to be dead -when she's only stunned- the commander orders one of his crewmen dispose of the body.
Waking soon after, she learns from the ship's Captain that he and his crew are political refugees from the planet Somar, who are plundering planets in order to put together a big enough of an army to overthrow their corrupt government. Supergirl informs him that a revolution has already taken place on Somar, and the Commander was keeping it a secret to retain his power. Unable to serve the Commander anymore, but still feeling indebted to the one freed, the Captain commits suicide.
Supergirl wrecks the ship and captures the space pirates, and turns them and the Commander over to an interplanetary police force.
