Synopsis for Sandman: "The Man Who Couldn't Sleep!"
Felix Black, unable to sleep because of a childhood nerve injury, finally has his tension of never being able to relax boil over, pushing him into a life of crime. Meanwhile, Wesley and Sandy are visiting their friend, would-be PI Nick Parks, who can't seem to stay awake. When the jeweler's that's hired him for protections is robbed by Black's gang, he goes on the warpath to find out who was responsible, only to end up kidnapped by them. Black tries to force the other crooks not to go along with his rule of no killings, but his nerve breaks when they stand up to him. Sandman and Sandy find their way to the gang's hideout, and in the brawl Felix Black gets another head injury, which allows him to sleep like a normal person, and quells his desire to commit crimes.

Synopsis for Shining Knight: "Adventure of the Desperate Dragons"
Justin and Professor Moresby are visiting a museum exhibit on dinosaur skeletons, with even Justin, who fought a few dragons in his time, marveling at these ancient beasts. As they're leaving Justin accidentally bumps an x-ray machine to life, bathing a stack of recovered dinosaur eggs in its powerful energy. This causes the clutch of eggs to hatch into a swarm of pterodactyls, which opportunistic thief Porky Callahan sneaks out in his pockets with dreams of selling them, but within hours they've grown to adult size, causing him to hatch bigger plans. He forms a gang and they fly around, riding the pterodactyls as mounts, robbing at will. Shining Knight battles these varlets, but is unable to overcome them until he gets the help of fighter pilots who he has dress up their rigs as a swarm of fire-breathing dragons on his side.
