Notes

  • This issue has been reprinted in DC Comics Presents: Wonder Woman Adventures #1.
  • This series combined elements of then-current DC Comics along with what was established by Batman and Superman cartoons at the time, and as a result differed from what would eventually be established by the DCAU.
    • The Justice League line-up is based on the then-current lineup established by Grant Morrison and Howard Porter in JLA, with Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Kyle Rayner, Wally West, Aquaman, and Martian Manhunter.
    • Batman visually appeared to be his Batman: The Animated Series self.
    • Superman is established as being based on the version shown in Superman: The Animated Series, as he is shown fighting Parasite, who resembles the version from the show.
    • Kyle Rayner appears here similar to his 90s incarnation. A version of Kyle would eventually be introduced on Superman: The Animated Series nearly two years after this story's publication, with a completely different look.[1] The DCAU Kyle would also never be shown to be a regular teammate of the Justice League, as John Stewart took that position.
    • Aquaman is shown in this story to resemble the then-current look of Aquaman in Peter David's run on Aquaman (Volume 5). However a different version of Aquaman would be introduced in Superman: The Animated Series nearly two years later, wearing the traditional orange costume.[2] He would eventually begin resembling the Peter David-era Aquaman during the time of Justice League.[3]
    • Flash, Wonder Woman, and Martian Manhunter also resemble their then-current 90s selves, though DCAU's Flash wouldn't meet Superman until Superman: "Speed Demons" and DCAU's Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter wouldn't meet them until Justice League.
