Adventures of Jerry Lewis #107 is an issue of the series Adventures of Jerry Lewis (Volume 1) with a cover date of August, 1968.
Synopsis for "The Great Cross-Country Tour -- And What Made the Country Cross!"
Two week Spring vacation is coming up at Uncle Hal's tough school, and Jerry decides to drive cross-country. Renfrew isn't happy that Witch Kraft will be their only traveling companion, and blackmails Jerry into inviting the whole school class and wheedling a loaned school bus out of Uncle Hal.
Uncle Hal has his own troubles. His younger brother Monty owes loan sharks $14,000.00. The criminals say they'll forget the marker if Hal helps them pass counterfeit money in various United States cities.
With the school trip as a "cover", Hal agrees. Jerry, of course, ends up as the patsy delivery boy for the dropoffs.
The criminals' helicopter eventually crashes into Mount Rushmore, and a telephone in Abraham Lincoln's nose brings word that Monty escaped captivity and went to the police.
