The Nelson family cause havoc at the beach. Ozzie crashes his surfboard into other beachgoers. David and Ricky cover Ozzie with sand while he's asleep and scam people for a look at the world's longest man. Nick steals a roast chicken and the family is forced to reimburse the owner. Their hot dog orders are too complicated. Ozzie gets lost at sea chasing their umbrella in the wind and has to be rescued by the Coast Guard. The train conductor they terrorized on the journey there is horrified to see them getting back on again. He promises an exclusive private compartment then seals them inside.

Synopsis for The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet: "Home Again"

Arriving home from their disastrous vacation, the Nelsons have forgotten their keys. Ozzie is forced to sneak in through a window, and falls into a full bathtub Ricky was using for his toy ships. Harriet is furious at him for making a mess of things, and bringing home seashells in a suitcase instead of their belongings. They are woken in the middle of the night by noises downstairs, and Ozzie tries to confront a burglar. It turns out to be Joe Randolph watching a boxing match with friends, since Ozzie gave him the keys and told him to look after the place. Ozzie tries getting Joe to leave but is unsuccessful.

Synopsis for "Nick"

Nick opines to a stray dog about how rough his cushy life is with the Nelsons. Going back inside, he cannot find Ozzie and begins to worry something terrible has happened. Ozzie returns causing Nick to be overjoyed.

Synopsis for The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet: "Golf"

David and Ricky decide to pick up golfing like their father. Ozzie is upset to discover his clubs missing. The kids accidentally break a neighbor's window while golfing, then run away. Ozzie discovers the clubs just in time to get blamed for the incident by Mr. Smith. Before Mr. Smith can beat him up, Ozzie accidentally steps on a golf club that flies up and knocks Smith out. The police arrive to arrest them both, and a judge puts Ozzie in jail. Harriet brings the kids to the courthouse so they can confess their crime. The judge ultimately decides to let Ozzie out, but sentences David and Ricky to caddy while he and Ozzie golf.
