Trivia [ ]
At six seasons and 104 episodes, Adventures of Superman was the longest running (Live-Action) superhero TV series, until it was surpassed by Smallville (10 seasons and 218 episodes).
This continuity was revealed to be set on an Earth of the Arrowverse Multiverse in the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover tie-in, Crisis on Infinite Earths Giant (Volume 1) .
Near the end of the 1950s, a script was written for a feature film titled Superman and the Secret Planet , in which George Reeves' Superman would have battled an army of Kryptonian criminals. However, the film proved too expensive to produce and was never made.[1]
In the Brazilian version, the catch-phrase of the opening "Truth, justice and American way" was replaced with "Truth, justice, and the well-being of everyone".
