Synopsis for "Curtain Call"

While hosting a free show to raise spirits, famous actress Nancy Nolan is confronted by her 16-year-old son, Andrew, whom she abandoned because of his deformed face. Suddenly, the roof of the theater collapses due to the weight of the snow, and Andrew saves his mother's life by transforming his body into iron. Andrew and Superman work together to rescue everyone else from the theater.

Later, when Superman and Andrew visit Nancy in the hospital, she claims to not know the identity of her masked rescuer. Dejected, Andrew walks away, saying she can call him Ferro. He then helps Superman deliver the latest edition of the Daily Planet.
