Adversary

Adversary, also known as Cary Richards, is an enemy to Superman. Despite his appearance, he is actually a young wheelchair-ridden boy who was Clark Kent's neighbor. He gained psionic powers when he made a deal with the demon Satanus. This turned him into a ridiculous caricature of a super-villain to oppose Superman. Adversary was created by J.M. DeMatteis and Mike McKone, first appearing in Adventures of Superman #579. (2000)
