Ahura-Mazda was the God of Light and leader of the Zoroastrian pantheon of gods.

Ahura-Mazda rescued Nu'Bia from death during her time as the guardian of the internal exit of the Underworld.

He and Nu'Bia were intimate lovers until his heart was cut out and taken by the demon Ahriman.

Telepathy: Ahura-Mazda could mentally communicate with his lover, Nubia, after gaining enough vitality

Although this character was originally introduced during DC's Earth-One era of publication, their existence following the events of the 1985–86 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths remains intact. However, some elements of the character's Pre-Crisis history may have been altered or removed for Post-Crisis New Earth continuity, and should be considered apocryphal.
