Ahura-Mazda is the god of light and supreme deity of the Iranian Gods.

According to the prophet Zoroaster, the chief ancient Persian deity was Ahura-Mazda ("Lord of Wisdom" in old Persian), the good god of light, but dissenters worshiped Ahriman, the evil god of darkness.[1]

Ahura-Mazda rescued Nu'bia from death during her time as the guardian of the internal exit of the Underworld. Eventually Nu'bia and Ahura-Mazda would become lovers.

His twin brother Ahriman, god of evil and darkness, ripped out Ahura-Mazda's golden heart, but he did not expect that Nu'bia would come after him to retrieve the heart with the help of Wonder Woman, so he used shards of the heart to corrupt some super-powered humans to fight them. Ultimately, Ahriman was subdued and taken by Nu'bia to restore Ahura-Mazda to health.[2]
