History
Sagebrush and Cactus, later known as Cal and Alec, had exasperating and often amusing adventures in the remote badlands and deserts of the American Old West.
Notes
- Alec appeared in a feature created by Robert Leffingwell which ran from New Comics #1 to New Comics #5 under the title "Sagebrush 'n' Cactus," then from New Comics #6 to New Adventure Comics #14 as "Cal 'n' Alec", then onward under that title from New Adventure Comics #29 to Adventure Comics #35, and then from More Fun Comics #42 until More Fun Comics #47.
- Bill Patrick took over the art after New Comics #4. Fred Schwab took over after New Adventure Comics #14.
