History
After some experimentation by the villain Ruin, two new Parasites debuted - one purple, and the other green. The two new Parasites were teenagers named Alex and Alexandra Allston, who wanted to seek vengeance on the people who made their lives difficult. Alex was clearly much less pleased with their transformation than his sister and desired only to complete the task Ruin had given them under the promise of becoming normal again, and didn't want anyone to get hurt while carrying it out.
During a fight with Superman after he had armored up to prevent the Parasites from absorbing more of his power a civilian was almost killed by Alexandria which Alex did not approve of. He used the last of Superman's power to pull flaming wreckage off the Man of Steel and the still uninjured woman. After attempting to escape from a meta-human prison, Alex, was killed by an OMAC. His sister Alexandra escaped and joined the Secret Society of Super-Villains under Lex Luthor.

Powers
- Energy Absorption: Parasites are able to absorb the life energy of other beings leaving withered corpses. He is also able to absorb virtually any other energy form and use it.
