Lex Luthor is the genius, ego-centric Metropolis businessman who, with his company LexCorp, and scientifically advanced Warsuit, has acted as both an antagonist to Superman and the Justice League.
History
Lex Luthor in his quest to rule Metropolis begins to cause destruction in the city until Superman appears, they confront each other but he is defeated and sent to jail.[1]
After leaving prison, Lex Luthor hires Metallo to stop Superman using the kryptonite in his chest, but Metallo ends up being defeated by Superman and Batman, after Batman realizes that Lex Luthor is behind Metallo he goes to LexCorp and stops him, sending him back to jail.[2]
After leaving prison, Lex Luthor was holding a treasure auction in Metropolis, when while holding an old book Silver Banshee appeared to steal it.[3]

- This version of the character is exclusive to the continuity of the HarperCollins Books and is an adaptation of Luthor. The original character was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster and first appeared in Superman #4.
