Alfred Pennyworth was the Grim Knight's butler during his reign of terror on Gotham. Alfred had a bomb implanted in his neck to keep him loyal.

History

Eventually, despite the threat to his life, Alfred quit working for Bruce and went to the police, this became a major source of evidence that lead to Batman's capture and arrest.
