Prince Ali Ben Sohrab was a criminal who faked murders in his hotel so that the people who thought they were guilty paid for his protection.

When Jay Garrick visited the Prince Hotel with Joan Williams, the clerk gave Joan room 666 and did not give the Flash a room, as he claimed there was no space left. When Jay returned to the hotel several hours later, Joan had vanished and the clerk claimed that there was no room 666. Jay decided to investigate the hotel as the Flash to find out what had happened to Joan.

Ali Ben Sohrab Earth-Two 002

Flash spinning Prince Ali Ben Sohrab

Flash overheard a man speaking to Prince Ali Ben Sohrab and discovered that he was faking murders in the hotel so people paid for his protection. Sohrab told the men to take down the Flash, otherwise he would tell the police of their crimes. The Flash found one of his old friends, Billy Rogers, locked in a room in the hotel and told him of Sohrab's scheme. Billy Rogers then gave the Flash a description of the man he thought he killed, and discovered that his victim was actually Sohrab's confederate. When the Flash caught up with Sohrab he quickly defeated him by pulling on his turban at high speed, wrapping Sohrab in it.
